1. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS TO BECOME SENIOR DIVISION / SENIOR WING ANO'S
(a) Permanent Teachers, in the grade of Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer teaching students of Class X and above are eligible for appointment as SD / SW ANOs.
(b) Workshop Instructor's and Assistant Teachers of Technical Institutions are also eligible provided they are teaching / imparting technical education to the students of Class XI and
(c) PTIs,Yoga Teachers,Librarian,DPE's and Demonstrators are also
eligible,provided they are working in the grade of Lecturers and they are members of the teaching staff.
2. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS TO BECOME JUNIOR DIVISION / JUNIOR WING ANO'S
(a) Permanent Teachers / Assistant Teachers teaching students of Class X and below.
(b) PTIs, Yoga Teachers , Librarian, DPE's and Demonstrators are also eligible for
appointment as ANO's in the Junior Division if they are a member of the teaching staff.
3. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR TEMPORARY AND/OR AD-HO LECTURES/TEACHERS
(a) Temporary Lectures / Teachers working in the Grade mentioned at Para 1 and 2 above are also eligible for appointment as ANO's in the respective Division / Wing, provided a certificate from the Principal of the Institution is enclosed along with the application stating that the candidat is expected to continue for more that three years and is likely to be made permanent.
(b) A certificate from their Employer ( and not from the Principal of the Institution) is also required to be enclosed along with the application stating that the candidate is expected to continue for more than three years and is likely to be made permanent...
4. AGE LIMIT FOR ANO CANDIDATES
(a) Male candidates applying for SD and JD ANO's should not
be below 21 years of age and should not be above 42 years of age.
(b) The upper age limit is relaxable with a provision for further three years i.e. up to 45 years age at the sole discretion of the DGNCC.No further relaxation is permissible.
(c) CTC of the High School Certificate is required to be enclosed along with the application form as proof of age of the candidate.
5. OTHER CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY / APPOINTMENT
(a) Should be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal.
(b) Should be medically fit. A certificate to this effect should be given by the doctor in the requisite
column of the application form.
(c) Should be having good moral character.
(d) Should not have been dismissed earlier from NCC,TA or the Armed Forces.
(e) Should not be a member of any communal organization.
6. HOW TO APPLY
(a) Application in Form II (for Female candidates) and Form III (for male candidates duly completed in all respects and recommended by the Head of the Institution (College / School) should be submitted to respective NCC Units well before the last date for receipt of applications.The units will forward the same to respective NCC Group HQ's who will scrutinize and thereafter forward the same to NCC Directorate (K & L).
(b) It should be ensured that all the requisite certificates are enclosed along with the application.
(c) Incomplete applications and those found not in order or without the requisite documents or received after the last date for submission are rejected.
7. SELECTION PROCESS
(a) Eligible candidates will be required to appear for an interview before a Selection Board.
(b) The selected candidates will have to undergo a Pre Commission Course of 12 weeks duration.
